The Fab Four have 23 of the most-requested 60s songs that continue to be in demand right up to the current date. Unlike song popularity tracking specialists like Billboard that look at older sales data, Pop Culture Madness measures the success of 1960s artists based on the number of requests each of their songs receives including current times. Pop Culture Madness then updates a list of top 50 songs for each year in the 1960s, starting with the most popular. Consolidating Pop Culture Madness data for the top 50 songs from 1960 to 1969, the lists below show the most requested bands and solo artists from an era most Baby Boomers associate with peace, love and Woodstock.
